The principal "NomadicMoroccan's" - Des & Nathalie Clark have been exploring the valleys, villages and summits of the High Atlas for more than 10 years and have lived there for most of these. Now based in the UK, they make frequent trips to these mountains that they know and love.  Des is an (Irish) professional International Mountain Leader as well as a Wilderness EMT. Outside of the Moroccan High Atlas, he has climbed and guided extensively in the Alps, Pyrenees, Iceland, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.A keen birdwatcher when he has time, he has enjoyed spotting the very rare and endangered Bald Ibis on the coast north of Agadir, as well as the resident Lammergeiers in the Toubkal & Mgoun massifs. He has also written the first English-language guidebook to winter walking, climbing and scrambling right across the Moroccan High Atlas. |

 what you'd expect to read - but it's true!We strive to offer high quality (mountain) adventure trips and give our clients something different from the bigger, international travel companies. Sensitivity to the local environment and Berber culture is of the utmost importance to all of us. Compared to the larger travel companies we have a small committed client base - the result of this is that we know most of our clients on an individual level and so can offer a highly personalised service before, during and after a trip. We are a small independent provider and have years of combined experience in leading groups and individuals to some of the most remote and unspoilt areas in this fabulous mountain range. We try and avoid paperwork as much as possible (a common aspiration we're sure!), and so we are entirely "internet based" in terms of marketing, trip information and so on. No glossy brochures but lots of information for the asking.  , hopefully you're getting the picture........ |
