MGOUN ROUTE Stunning winter
views of the Mgoun (4068m) massif from the Tarkeddid ridge north
of Mgoun itself. Mgoun at 4068m is the highest peak in the High
Atlas outside of the Toubkal area and in full winter conditions is
undoubtedly the most challenging of the Atlas 4000ers. The
use of snowshoes or skis are often required to gain the summit
ridge from the Tarkeddid plateau below.
